Lowery Mills is an original rock group, local to the Kingston area, founded in 2020 by singer Jordan Lowery, and guitarist Jay Mills. Their unique sound delivers memorable guitar riffs, catchy hooks, while infusing their country roots as they bring the rock n roll party. Their current line up consists of Jordan Lowery (vocal and guitar), Jay Mills (lead guitar), Chris Melanson (drums) and Maxwell Jacobs (bass). Lowery Mills is set to release their debut single “Striking Like Thunder” on May 13, 2022.
Jordan Lowery and Jay Mills first met at Sharbot Lake High School in 2010 where they quickly realized they both shared a very similar drive and passion for music. Since then, they have stuck together evolving into different bands over the years, developing their sound and song writing skills. In 2020 they teamed up with Leon Harrison (lead vocalist of The Lazys and Creator of BandWagon) to craft and refine the groups sound. Shortly after, and through Harrison’s connections, the group attended song writing sessions with Kenda Legespi (lead vocalist of The Creepshow) and Ryan Roxie (guitarist of Alice Cooper) and created the first official three songs for Lowery Mills. In September 2020, the band travelled to Logan Studios in Toronto, Ontario to work with engineer Ben Erickson, and Leon Harrison as producer to capture the raw energy of Lowery Mills.
On May 13, 2022 Lowery Mills has release their debut single “Striking Like Thunder” world wide. With Covid restrictions lifting, Lowery Mills will be seen on stages in Kingston, Oshawa,
Toronto, Peterbourough, Ottawa and many more to come!
